An art program for youth lead by Rita Wildshut from Red Roof Studio.

RADIO TALK SHOW

A talk show for newcomers to learn about the community from local leaders.

TV SHOW

Community television talk show in collaboration with Shaw TV. This show attracted newcomers as well as other viewers. The production of this program offered young people the opportunity to learn the skills required for production.

FOOD HAMPERS

With support from MCC adn WeCare food hampers were locally sourced. These hampers were given to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Receipients were both Muslim and non-Muslim

UNSUNG HERO BANQUET

TRANSLATION SUPPORT

Translation support for health messaging, community COVID-19 preventitie messages. Arranging for legal, immigration and support documents to be translated.

YOUTH ADVISORY

Initiated the first two inaugural meetings of this initiative, and handed it over to Grasslands FCSS.
Future project - John Ware Youth Leadership to empower and offer mentorship.
